The Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series is one of the most successful in the history of video games. Developed by the British company Rockstar Games, it became famous for the scale of the open virtual world, the characters’ freedom of action, and a gripping plot in the adventure action genre. So far, five parts of the franchise have been released, and the sixth is expected to be released in 2025. GTA VI should take place in Vice City and its suburbs, which is known from the previous parts, which the creators placed in the state of Leonida – an analog of Florida. The main characters of the new part of the game will be a pair of criminals – Jason and Lucia. Their story is inspired by the famous Bonnie and Clyde but in the modern United States. However, fans are actively suggesting that the male character will be an undercover police agent, and the central theme of the story will be the conflict between duty and passion. Notably, Lucia is the first female protagonist in the series.
Meaning and History
It’s hard to believe, but it has been over ten years since the last series about the great car thief appeared. All this time, players were waiting for the sixth part. At one time, there were even rumors that it would never be released. Fortunately, the work on the future GTA 6 began back in 2014. The first rumors about the details appeared in 2018. A couple of years later, Jason Schreier revealed the main characters. The first trailer was released in December 2023 on the official YouTube channel of Rockstar Games. It gained more than 100 million views in a day, and the figure exceeded 140 million several days later. The game is planned to be released at the end of 2025, as announced by Take-Two, the owner of Rockstar Games, which is developing the game. Grand Theft Auto VI will initially be released exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 consoles.

This shows that the game will take place in a coastal city with a rich and dynamic culture. The game name is printed in white using all lowercase letters. The characters are placed one right next to the other and have an outline to make them stand out and give even more depth to the inscription. The inscription is not aligned to the right, left, or centered. The different alignment of each stroke gives the logo dynamics and interest.
Font and Color
The color palette is inspired by Miami city, which the game used as the basis. This vibrant and energetic palette is a perfect reflection of the lively and dynamic gameplay and emotions it evokes. The pink evokes feelings of excitement and reminds one of extravagant parties. Meanwhile, the blue reminds one of the city’s nightlife and the bustling activity that fills its streets. The boldness of orange captures the essence of Miami’s diversity.
The logo features the iconic Pricedown Black font. It was designed back in the early 2000s and uses Pinto Flare font as the base. The font choice evokes nostalgic feelings and reminds one of the greatness of the whole game series.
